Hi Everyone,
Corey and I both had a good day. Today, our regular nurses called out. Tiffany, a nurse that was with us the first few weeks home, covered the day shift so I could go into Philly and have brunch with JohnPaul and Caitlin. We had a fun afternoon spending time together and hanging out in Rittenhouse Square.
Tiffany had a blast with Corey! It’s always great to see the reactions from people that haven’t seen Corey in awhile. When Tiffany was here in early June, Corey was not waving, writing, transitioning with one person (we had to use the Hoyer lift) or trying to speak ~ let alone sing! The ladies had a great time together.
Corey and I continued to enjoy the day as we sat outside on the side porch, listened to music and visited with our neighbor. The fresh air and sunshine is an instant pick me up. We’ve had a quiet night relaxing together but now it’s time to make a pot of coffee…I’ve got the night shift! Happy dreams, xoxo
